Can this product heat food to boiling?
The iTRUSOU warming plate is primarily designed for keeping food warm. Due to power limitations, it cannot heat food to boiling. If you need to bring food to a boil, we recommend using high-power appliances like induction cookers or microwaves.

Max temp is 95±5°C, set with negative tolerance to protect tabletops like solid wood or marble from damage due to prolonged high temps. Varied emissivity settings on infrared thermometers cause errors.For accuracy, use a thermocouple thermometer.
Are there any requirements for the tabletop when using the heating plate?
To prevent damage to tabletops, the reverse side of heating mat has raised pads for better heat dissipation. However, we still don’t recommend prolonged use on surfaces like plywood,glass,plastic,or other materials not resistant to high temperatures.
